This Project about
Introduction
My project is about nature and sound.
The sounds I capture through recordings bring me back to some of the places I have been to.
Music has the power to take us to many places in our minds if we let it happen both as performers and listeners
I want to reconnect humans with nature as they were back in the earlier parts of our history when people still listened to the natural environment and lived in harmony with the natural world. For this project, I want to combine instrumental music with natural sounds and explore the connections between my repertoire and the natural world.
Soundscape
Inspiration
I likes to take pictures of landscapes and nature. In recent years, I also started recording environmental sounds. I bought a recorder and started traveling around Thailand to record natural sounds in several provinces.
I like traveling to natural places and listen to the sounds of nature. it makes me relax and reconnects me with the world.
Concept
I would like to use Soundscape to be used with Classic music to give the audience a wide listening experience with the natural sound of Soundscape. And with Saint-Saëns' songs, there is a touch of European nature. Therefore wanting people to listen to the imagination of The voices that I hear to listen to the sound of nature and see his own picture So I wanted Soundscape to be able to connect with Classic music. I also wanted to show the Saint-Saëns that the music is sweet. And has a French thought that will get along well The show wants the audience to relax and feel that the body is in nature. By using open listening and understanding of the music trying to convey
Why is it important for humans to reconnect with the natural environment ?
These days, every human grows up in a world saturated with technology. I believe that it is very important to reconnect with the natural world, we all come from nature after . We evolved from nature, not technology. We are all part of nature and how we hear and perceive sounds is directly connected to our natural heritage. We create technology to make our lives life easier.
In his article ‘How Our Health Depends on Biodiversity’ Prof. E. O Wilson states that Healthy ecosystems “are at the foundation of all civilization and sustain our economies. It's that simple: we could not live without these “ecosystem services”. They are what we call our natural capital.”
We are not separate with nature
“ It is common to think of nature or the natural world as something separate from us. That we are human, and nature is nature, and these are different, somehow. But we are the same. We are also animals, living in the natural world.we are not separate from nature, any more than we are separate from anything in the Universe. by taking a walk out in the woods. Sit under a tree for an hour and watch the leaves wave in the breeze; or lie your back on the ground and spend time gazing at the sky. In that hour, you will become intimately involved with nature! You will stop your experience of being sanitized, clean and protected “human” and become “animal” instead. Your skin may become damp from where you are sitting. Your skin may become exposed to wind or sun. You may become the highway for various bugs: ants will crawl over you, gnats will pester you. Bees may buzz about. Sit under that tree, or lie on your back in the grass for much longer than an hour: for a day, a week, a hundred years like some Rip Van Winkle, and nature will soon invade the organism that you consider “you”: first your clothing, your body, your being.”
